Baseball
I've played baseball the longest and am probably the best at it out of the three I play. I've played
for about 7 years and have covered the entire field, though I usually play on the infield. I played
my sophomore year, made varsity during the season... and then didn't play this year. When I did
play I was an outfielder/3rd/pitcher. I ended up batting a solid .421 so I'm happy with that,
and I was perfect as a pitcher ( 1-0 ), heh yeah I know one game. That was Briarwood, we won
15-2 and I had 9 SO's in 3 innings, then I just started sucking and giving up hits so I got taken
out. Anyways, too much to do... so, no baseball for me this year.
Baseball season is over now, we didn't do too great as a team though. We'll just say that no
one really needs to know the record. In any event, in the clean-up spot, I batted .421 on the season
with 21 SB's, 15 runs and 17 RBI's. I was never thrown out attempting to take an extra base or in
any close play. In the field however, in 18 games I committed 6 errors... I'll need to clean that up. I
played 3rd and pitched in a couple of games ( 1-0 ). I was also promoted to varsity toward the end
of the season.

Football
Football is my next sport... I love it. I play strong side middle linebacker and full back. Both are fun but I like defense better
cause I like hitting more than blocking. I like running the ball so that's the upside of full back. I just got into the sport and it's become
something really enjoyable. I know I'll miss it.... anyway, 2001 season for MHS went ( 9-2 ) with a 1st round playoff knockout. We
should have killed that team, we were just off that night. It was Charles Henderson of Troy, I hate them. We only allowed 68 pts.
all season, and we had the 2nd best defense in the state in class 5A. Can't wait till next year! We gon' blow dem boys ass off...
